National Mathematics Day 2023
Our school commemorated National Mathematics Day on Srinivasa Ramanujans birthday, emphasizing the importance of mathematics. A Model Making Competition for grades 3 to 8 allowed students to exhibit their mathematical understanding creatively. Internal and external judges evaluated the models for creativity, accuracy, and presentation. The event served as a hands-on platform for students to express their knowledge visually. Ms Ushadevi (M.Sc., M.Phil.) ensured a fair assessment alongside internal judges, enriching the celebration with diverse perspectives.
In tandem with National Mathematics Day celebrations, grades 9 and 11 students engaged in a paper presentation competition, showcasing their research and communication skills. Each participant/group delivered well-prepared papers on diverse topics, contributing to knowledge dissemination and critical thinking. The presentations, which covered a wide range of topics, demonstrated students' depth of knowledge and analytical skills. In this insightful event, two judges provided constructive remarks to foster continuous academic improvement based on presenting skills and subject-depth evaluations.
