'Aksharabhyasam' a festive aura for the kids of Pre KG & LKG was celebrated on June 15, 2023 at in our school campus with an initiation of education to a child, offered by their beloved parents and also by their guru.
The occasion started with prayer followed by lamp lighting by our Principal, teachers and parents to have a head start of the day.
Our Principal Ms. A. M. Jayanthi greeted the parents and rendered welcome address. She also gave a brief note about our benevolent Chairman and elaborated his vision and mission. Mr. Balaji, Dean Humanities explicated about GKR Foundation.
Aksharabhyasam is a traditional ceremony to introduce the child to the world of education by worshiping Goddess Saraswati. It is about the development of pre-writing skills.
Dr.GSK kids and their parents were invited to the school with grand band orchestra for the celebration. Parents held the child's right-hand forefinger and made the child to write 'Om' followed by the letter 'Aa' on the bed of paddy that was spread on the banana leaf to remark the significance of learning. Students were also entertained with games and activities which was awesome.
Snapshots in photo corners & selfie booth made their day interesting. Kids were motivated with colorful Well-done cards and pens. This day is recorded as one of the prestigious days of the academic year which was an exotic experience for all.
