Bharathiyar Jayanthi 2023
December 11 is celebrated as Bharathiyar Jayanti every year in Tamilnadu. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of the birth anniversary of the famous poet C. Subramania Bharathi who was a Tamil writer, poet, journalist, Indian Independence activist, social reformer and polyglot.
The master of ceremony was by Master. Pagalavan of grade VII.The celebrations began with the Prayer .The gathering was welcomed by Kumari. Hannah of grade VIII. The group song by VI-VIII students triggered love for Tamil poetry and regards for the poet ,Bharathiyar.Master Lucksha Vithyabharan and Master. Harin of grade VIII delivered thoughtful speech about "Paattukku Oru Pulavan".
A special address on Mahakavi. Bharathi was delivered in Hindi by Master. Dikseeth of grade IX and also Kumari. Mayuraa also shared her views about the great poet. The day was filled with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence as various programs were staged.

On account of Bharathiyar's Birthday Celebration, the students of grade IV-VII performed the skit on the title 'Bharathiyar's Biography'it was an eye opener for the gathering.
