76th Independence Day Celebration

No amount of money can give happiness that freedom does. Long Live our nation.

Dr. G. S. K. Memorial School celebrated 76th Independence Day with great fervour. The essence of the eve was 'Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav', with the theme 'Nation First, Always First'.

The event commenced with school prayer, welcome address by the Principal, Honourable Chief guest Col. S. Chandrasekar, Commanding Officer, 8th Battalion, hoisted the National Flag.

March-past by the four houses namely Canopus, Sirius, Polaris & Cygnus brought the house down. The eye catching event was mime, group dance, patriotic song and the speech by the students in tri language.

In totality, the day stole the hearts of the spectators. The aura of patriotism was felt by all. Sweets were distributed to all after the programme.
