70th Republic Day
Freedom in mind, Faith in words, Pride in our heart, Memories in our souls. Lets salute the Nation.
With this perception, a programme to celebrate the 70th Republic Day of India was organised at Dr G.S.K. Memorial School. The programme started with a prayer. The Principal of the school, Mr. Breese Pappachan rendered the welcome address to the CEO of the school, the CAO of the school, the Chief Guest of the day, the Deans of the school and other dignitaries.
The Chief Guest was led by the Principal to hoist the National Flag. Various programmes followed the well organised March Past that included a melodious patriotic song. The Dean, Mr. K.P.Rao mentioned about various patriots who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The CEO of the school, Mr. Murali Rao rendered a special address that motivated the young minds to reach great heights. Ms. Padma Priya, Co ordinator Grade V, introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. G. Suryanarayanan followed by a simple felicitation to the Chief Guest to express the gratitude.
The Chief Guest, Mr. G. Suryanarayanan rendered his Special Message for the day. He ignited the students by provoking their thoughts to explore about various opportunities available in the wide range of industries. Hundreds of Prizes were distributed to the deserving students from KG to Grade XII who took part in various competitions conducted by the school which include Be an Orator, Picture Description, Creative Writing , Colouring, Handwriting, etc.,
Dr GSK strives to bring up excellent citizens. What we sow is what we reap. To reap, the best citizens, Dr GSK Interact club initiated Lend a hand Save trees. As a part of it, trees were planted by the Chief Guest in the Go Green area. Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Vote of thanks was proposed by the Dean - Humanities, Mr Balaji.
