NCF Orientation by Ms.Meera Ravishankar
On 09/09/23, the management organized a workshop on Implementing a National Curriculum Framework (NCF) at schools for the teachers. The resource person was Mrs. M. Meera Ravishankar
At the outset, she summarised the new National Educational Policy, which is crucial for the current academic climate. She also discussed the New Curriculum Framework (NCF), the basics for setting curriculum in schools.
She provided evidence that the educational system has to be updated to reflect the demands and goals of the student community. Additionally, she noted that the NCF gives a platform to students by raising awareness of 21st-century skills such as cooperation, teamwork, emotional intelligence, crisis management, and health to build successful members of society.
Overall, it was an eye-opening session for the faculty members that would improve their capacity to educate and support the student body in reaching new heights.
