Day 1
Krishna Jayanthi Competition for Parents, A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place and when we expect nothing in return Parents of our school are always a gift for us and they always work hand in hand with us. We feel so proud to have such parents at Dr.GSK. A competition for parents from LKG to Grade II was organised to decorate our Brindhavan through their creative ideas. Parents participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and showcased their talents filling the arena with positive vibes of Brindhavan. Govarthana Krish, Birth of Krishna, Rasaleela of Krishna were depicted with 3d models by the parents.
Day 2
Krishna Jayanthi Celebration, Let our practice be a celebration of life. A Simple Celebration, a gathering of friends, is great happiness and a joy that never ends. The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by our Little Radhas and Krishnas on 22.08.2019 between 10.00 and 11.00 am in our school premises. Krishna Janmashtami also known as Krishnashtami, Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Ashtami Rohini, Srikrishna Jayanti, Sree Jayanti was celebrated at Dr.GSK to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. The celebration bloomed with lighting the lamp and followed by special address about the event by Mr.Balaji, Dean Academics (Humanities). Our Pre-Primary children gave stage performances. Mr.Vanamali Gopal Dasa, President and Mr.Vijay Venkatesa Dasa, Vice President of ISKCON Kumbakonam presided over the function as Chief Guests. Mrs. Radha Prabhu Officiating Vice Principal Admin emphasized the need to internalize great values in her Special Address.
