Duki Duki Van at Dr.GSK
The Postal Department's Duki Duki Van, a mobile philately exhibition, visited Dr.GSK Memorial School to promote stamp collection and awareness on 11.09.2024. The event, a curtain-raiser for an exhibition in Thanjavur on the 8th and 9th of October, showcased the rich history of stamps and inspired students from Grades 8 and 9.
An impromptu quiz was conducted, with Dr. GSK students performing admirably and winning prizes. The event concluded with students sharing feedback on the mobile van and learning about the endangered sea creature, the "Duki Dugong," as part of a conservation campaign. The visit was an engaging and informative experience, fostering an appreciation for philately and environmental conservation.
