NCC ANO Training
We are proud to announce that S. Venkat Kumar, an outstanding NCC Officer at Dr. GSK Memorial School, has completed the prestigious Associate NCC Officer (ANO) training program PRCN Course at the Officer Training Academy (OTA) in Kamptee, Maharashtra, from April 8 to May 22, 2024.
This rigorous training program was designed to empower ANOs with vital leadership, tactics, and communication skills critical for mentoring and shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Participants delved into a comprehensive curriculum that spanned personality development, leadership qualities, life skills, first aid, health and hygiene, social service, environmental awareness, military training, map reading, weapon training, article writing, and national integration.
Following his exemplary performance throughout the course, S. Venkat Kumar was awarded the esteemed rank of Third Officer (T/O) with Direct Commission (NCC/DC/14210967) and achieved an impressive Grade B. Remarkably, he stands out as the only officer from the Trichy Group to earn a Grade B in this highly competitive training program. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his resolute dedication and commitment to the highest standards of NCC training. S. Venkat Kumar has proven himself to be a capable mentor, poised to inspire and guide young cadets on their journey to becoming responsible and engaged citizens.
