Children's Day
November 14, Children's Day or Bal Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who is addressed by the children as Chacha Nehru.
Children's day was celebrated in our school with great fervor. Students of grade II-V took part with zeal and enthusiasm.
Students of grade 5 received the guests and a handful of students volunteered for master of ceremony from grade II-V.
The programmes were quite informative and entertaining too. The power packed group discussion on love for nature made the day.
The mime show was an eye opener. The puppet show by grade V students upskilled the message that wisdom is the integral part of our life. The essence of the day was to keep children joyous through variety of interesting programmes.
Our principal, Ms. A. M. Jayanthi appreciated and applauded all the participants for their sweet performances. She quoted Good work of people must pass on to others and let others also experience the joy.
