Innovation 2k18
Dr.GSK Innovation 2k18 Science Expo was hosted by School Management on 16th February 2019 with an endeavor to promote scientific attitude among budding young students. The event was inaugurated by Padmashri Dr. Mylsamy Annadurai, Vice President, Tamil Nadu State Council of Higher Education of science & Technology and Former ISRO scientist. The exhibits of the students were indeed eye openers on various topics related to Technology, Communication, Bio Diversity, Community, Health, Environmental and Mathematical Modelling, from all departments. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participants from Grade III XI, putting up 715 exhibits, comprising of innovative working models and investigation based projects by 1500 students.
Mr. Breeese Principal, welcomed the gathering and Dr.K.P.Rao- Dean shared his vision on Innovation the Next Step Forward. Chief Guest Dr. Mayilsamy Annadurai emphasized on students about changing the school campus to IIT and GETTING INTO IIT with I Innovation, I Involvement, and T Teamwork. Our sister concern school Principal Mr. David Manokaran and Vice Principal Mrs. Yamalatha adorned the occasion with their gracious presence.
Chief Guest and Dignitaries witnessed the exhibits of the students. Parent Volunteers were invited to Judge the students' exhibits. An exclusive interactive session was organized for Grade III to XI students with the Chief Guest to enhance the Scientific Temper in the minds of Dr. GSKians.
Valedictory ceremony was organized on the same day evening and the Prize winners were appreciated for their great work by CEO. Both the Participants and winners were applauded and rewarded with Certificates and mementos.
